Mahe Shipping recently presented a donation of SCR 75,000 to Pet Haven Seychelles under its 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme, reaffirming the company’s continued commitment to animal welfare and community support.

The initiative forms part of Mahe Shipping’s broader CSR strategy, which focuses on creating meaningful and lasting impact within the community. Through this continued support, the company aims to contribute towards improving the care and wellbeing of animals while assisting organisations that play an important role in society.

Following Mahe Shipping’s contribution last year, the company was pleased to see positive improvements at the shelter and the impact the support had on both the animals and the facilities. As Pet Haven Seychelles continues to expand its operations, the demand for support has also grown significantly. Last year, the shelter was caring for over 200 dogs, and today that number has increased to more than 300 animals in its care, reflecting the growing need for rescue and shelter services.
